This event is the World Triathlon official event. So all federation required to register your elite athletes via the World Triathlon website www:triathlon.org and pay the entree fee, 22000JPY via https://va.apollon.nta.co.jp/2024ast-hatsukaichi/joho?MODE=top

Entry qualifications
Entry qualifications
1) Participants must be 18 years old or older as of December 31, 2024 and physically fit enough to compete in the triathlon.
2) Registered members of prefectural athletic organizations and student federations in 2024
3) Those who have agreed to the consent form. (Parental consent is required for minors)
*Participants residing overseas must register with JTU for one-day registration.
Awards
Elite：Men's and women's overall 1st-3rd place each
Age group：1st to 3th place overall for men and women (*Not eligible for age-specific awards)
1st to 3rd place of Men and Women from every 5-year age group for Age 18 and older
Competition Environment
Water temperature is around 18℃ (as of 9:30 on April 24, 2021 / temperature: 23.1℃, water temperature: 17.9℃)
There are ups and downs for both the bike and run.
Swim event may be shortened or cancelled in case of low water temperature.
Provided Equipment
Designated race equipment (swim cap, race number, etc.), beverages during the race, and accident insurance for the event,
Participation souvenirs, etc.
Notes
The Japan Triathlon Union (JTU) rules will be applied.
Wet suits (for triathlon) must be worn.
Use of a cycle meter is recommended. Bicycles must be road racers for competition.
The use of small cameras and music players is prohibited for safety reasons.
Please wear a hard helmet for cycling competition.
The event may be shortened, changed, or cancelled due to inclement weather or other reasons.
Competition Insurance
Compensation for injuries sustained during the event will be covered by the insurance policy purchased for the event.
No compensation will be provided for equipment or facilities. Please make sure to check the following coverage details, and if you think it is not sufficient, please purchase a separate insurance policy on your own.
If you feel that your insurance coverage is not sufficient, please purchase insurance separately. (Infectious diseases are not covered.)
